Mission
Develop relevant, responsive and data driven military personnel policies and programs, and provide oversight on assignments, separations, force management, military decorations and awards, Voluntary Education, and Transition Assistance in support of Department of War and the sustainment of the All-Volunteer Force.
Vision
Ensure military personnel policies and programs support the Secretary of War, Military Departments, and the Combatant Commanders in managing their uniformed personnel while executing their statutory and assigned roles and missions.
