People, Policy, Power. Our mission is to enhance military readiness and lethality by developing forward-thinking personnel policies in support of our Service members. We manage the entire military lifecycle to build and sustain the world's most capable fighting force.

We group our policy work into four core functions, ensuring we provide seamless support at every stage of a Service member's career.
Life Cycle
The Life Cycle Team ensures seamless support for Service members at every stage of their career. We provide policy and oversight for the entire military journey, managing the frameworks for military assignments, the criteria for awards and deployability, and the process for a successful separation and career transition.
Development & Standards
The Development & Standards Team is dedicated to the professional and personal growth of our Service members through foundational policy and strategic oversight. We develop the policies that guide workforce development, set and maintain military standards, and ensure military equal opportunity, while spearheading special projects to continuously improve our force.
Utilization
The Utilization Team ensures the strategic and efficient use of our military personnel. We manage total force mobilization and oversee the management of our Reserve components, guaranteeing that the right people are in the right place at the right time to meet our nation's security needs.
Analysis
The Analysis Team provides the data-driven insights and oversight necessary for a transparent and accountable personnel system. We are responsible for data management and providing the analytical foundation for all our policy decisions.
